Welcome!
We’re AutoFueling Systems, a division of Mekos Corporation. Since 1988, we’ve been helping businesses like yours successfully market petroleum products and increase profitability. Our affordable, industry-proven and easy-to-use software satsifies automated fueling clients of all sizes across the country. Whether your cardlock operation is large or small, network or proprietary, standalone or part of a conglomerate business, AutoFueling software is the best answer to your cardlock billing needs.
We provide solutions to more Pacific Pride marketers than any other single vendor. Once we introduced our product in late 1988, new marketers have chosen AutoFueling cardlock over all other vendors combined. The Pride network has grown to over 1,400 sites, and we’ve been growing right along with them.
In 1999, we set up our first CFN client, and we have continued to grow our presence with CFN marketers every since. We have developed a strong interface to CFN’s WebNCC. This fully integrated interface takes advantage of every capability WebNCC has to offer.
Our clients are successful because they have all their vital customer information at their fingertips. And they use it to their advantage every day! They tell us that AutoFueling’s post-sales support and service really make a difference in their business. When our clients need help, they get prompt access to trained technical support given in a cordial, courteous manner. Going beyond sofware problems, we often help them solve business and accounting problems. Some clients even call us in during their tax audits.
Our full-featured software is the result of years of petroleum industry experience and the practical suggestions made by our clients. We listen to them, and we’ll listen to you. That’s how we’ve learned how things work in your world – from “selling” that card to putting the cash in the bank. Our software shows it.
Your satisfaction. Guaranteed.
If, after trying our software, you find you are not satisfied, simply tell us and we’ll refund your software purchase price.
A brief history of AutoFueling and our principals
In 1974, after fifteen combined years of information systems work for other companies, David and Patty Page founded their own business, Mekos Corporation. Mekos provided computer consulting for a variety of businesses and software applications.
As Mekos grew, so did the focus on designing and developing software to meet the very specific needs of small business owners in niche markets. It was exciting to get to know each of these businesses from the inside out and to develop a solution that met the needs of the owner, yet was general enough to be useful for the next person who came along in the same niche. With each new industry we tackled, we refined the techniques that result in software virtually pre-customized and operable by a non-technical person.
Back in 1984, we began learning the nuts and bolts of the cardlock network industry as we worked with Pacific Pride and their “switching” software. We gained an intimate knowledge of how this petroleum network operates. Soon we saw the need for a cardlock marketer’s software that was something more than an “add-on” to other petroleum software. Embarking on a project to meet this need, AutoFueling Cardlock Software was born.
In 1988, we installed the new software at Baird Oil in Boise, Idaho. Soon after came Tranmer Fuel in Oroville, Washington. Since then, new Pacific Pride marketers have chosen AutoFueling over all other vendors for their cardlock software.
In 1999, Fleetwing Corporation of Lakeland, Florida joined us as our first CFN client. We have continued to add more CFN participants ever since.
Although our focus over the initial years was with fueling network marketers (Pacific Pride and CFN), we have not neglected the unaffiliated commercial fueling marketers. Today we have a strong presence in that arena, partnering with National Bank Cards Services (NBS) who provides point of purchase authorizations and capture of the resulting transactions.
Our passion for developing an elegant “one-size fits all” solution has culminated in our current Version 8 Cardlock Billing Software. Version 8 runs in a Windows environment and is loaded with new features. We’d love to show it to you!
